People-first standards
Guides should answer a real task in plain language, explain prerequisites and outcomes, and help a reader reach the correct official service. Generic filler, copied instructions, doorway pages, unsupported claims, and invented experience are not acceptable.
Titles and buttons must describe what the page actually provides. An explanatory guide must not imply that Nepal Docs Guide operates an online government service.
Verification and citations
Claims about forms, documents, fees, eligibility, deadlines, processing, or legal effect require a current primary source. Exact official service pages are preferred over department homepages.
Publication and modification dates must reflect real content work. Verification, review, and source-access dates are added only when a documented check occurred.
Review, updates, and commercial separation
High-impact changes should be reviewed for source accuracy, independence, privacy, and misleading wording before publication. Material updates should be described in a visible change history when the article template supports it.
Sponsored or affiliate material must be clearly disclosed and cannot influence official links, conclusions, or the order of procedural steps.
